Planning

We heard your mom talking to you about finding a place to hang our clothes up and it got us thinking.  So we sat down to brainstorm some ideas for the house.

We talked about making a makeshift closet of some kind.  Sewing some curtains for the bedroom.  Installing the wood flooring.  Making a rag rug & some throw pillows.  A toy box of some kind would be good too.

We have a lot of ideas that I hope we can start working on really soon.  Do you think your mom would let us have some of the material she used to make my quilt? 

Lots of planning to do before anyone wakes.  I hope you have a great night and I can't wait to play with you in the morning!

On a mission to read.

Hally had never read a Fancy Nancy book, so we made it our mission to read a fancy Nancy story. 

This may sound simple to you, walk upstairs, get a book, come down and read it with a friend.

Well, it's not so simple to us.....

First we had to climb into Hally's Jeap.

And bring my helmet with us....

All the way to the stairs, in the dark.

Then we had to hike up the stairs, run down the hallway, get the book, 

it 

put it on the back of my scooter, & drive back down the hall.

Then we had to work as a team to make it down the stairs.

load the book into the back of the jeep & drive back home.

Even holding the book open to read it is a 2 doll job....

We learned a lot about team work tonight!

Candy Land

Hally and I had a lot of fun playing Candy land.  Neither of us had ever played before.  We had some hot cocoa and some cupcakes and settled in for some fun.  Hally won the first 2 games and then I won the next.  The game we are playing as I type is a really close one.  I hope I win!  But if I don't that's okay too.  It's just for fun.

I really like playing games and I like getting to know Hally while we play.  Did you know her favorite color is turquoise?  She loves to eat Chinese food and PB&J, but she hates Pizza!  

And her favorite thing about school is P.E. & she plays basketball on the school's team.  She wants to play soccer next year.  

She is really quite funny!  I am so glad she came to stay with us.

I think I hear someone so I must go.

A new hair style

Thank you so much for cleaning up my house before you went to bed.   It was nice not to have to clean the house before I did anything fun.....

Tonights adventure was one serious hair brushing, and styling.

My hair has been getting out of control lately, so Hally decided to help me tame my crazy hair.  My hair is kinda like yours, it tangles really easy.

Your mom had at one point in time started to braid my hair in small braids.  The small braids seem to keep my hair neat, but the big braids tangle.  So we took out the big braids and brushed it all out.

And braided it all.

It felt good to get pampered for a little while.

It will be nice to go back to school with a new hair style.  Trying something new is always an adventure.  Don't you think?

Hally's first night

Wow!  What a long day!  I can't believe it was all in one day!  After everyone went up for bed, Hally and I got ready for bed and got to work.

Hally cleaned the kitchen....

While I cleaned  Up the bathroom and hung a nail for the towel.

Then I cleaned up the bed room.   I had to have Hally help me move the bunk beds so I could find a place to hang all the clothes for now.

And Hally finished up with the dishes.

Then finally we had time to relax and chitchat.

we played a few games of go fish.

Then climbed into bed to read.   

And giggle until we got tired.

It was a long day, but it was great!  I hope your Christmas was as awesome as mine was.

I actually got to meet Santa!!!!!!!

Hi Lexi, it's me Pheebe.  Last night the most amazing thing happened!  I got to meet Santa!

There I was laying in your room and suddenly, out of no where Santa is there and he picked me up and brought me downstairs and asked me what I wanted for Christmas.   Do you know what I told him?  I told him more than anything I wanted to be able to share my stories with you! 

Santa told me I could use your mommy's computer to write to you AND that I can tell you all about what happens when there is no one around.   Usually us toys have to keep that to ourselves.   The rules say that we can't tell children what happens to us toys when you are sleeping or gone away to school, but Santa gave me my Christmas wish, so now I can tell you all about it.  Isn't that exciting? 

I don't know if you noticed yet, but last night Santa brought a new doll to play with us.  Her name is Hally and she has her own camper and everything.  She is so lucky! 

I told her about my tent and how you took me camping with you last summer.  Hally says maybe we can all go camping in the playroom some night.  That would be so much fun! 

I hope we can all be great friends!

Oh no I think I hear someone moving upstairs I better go now, but I will write you again really soon.
